The Confederacy of Independent Systems was a separatist movement led by Count Dooku (albeit founded deceptively by Darth Sidious) and the central antagonistic faction of the Star Wars: Prequel trilogy alongside both the 2003 micro-series Star Wars: Clone Wars and the 2009-2013 rebooted series Star Wars: The Clone Wars.

Trivia

• Despite serving as the central antagonists throughout the prequel trilogy and one of the TV series within the course of the storyline, the 2008 Confederacy was good.
